Excitatorische und inhibitorische Aminosäuren mit möglicher Beziehung zu neurodegenerativen Erkrankungen
Inhalt: (1) Neurotransmitter und Transmitter"kandidaten": Transmittersbiochemie / Synaptische Übertragung / Rezeptoren / Excitation-Inhibition. (2) Neuroaktive endogene Substanzen: Tryptophanstoffwechsel / Kynurenine pathway / Melatonin / Kynurensäure / Chinolinsäure / neurotoxische Eigenschaften. (3) Tiermodelle für neurodegenerative Erkrankungen: Pharmakologische Beeinflussung der neuronalen Übertragung / Änderungen der Enzymaktivität / Kainsäuretiermodell für die Neurodegenerations- und Epilepsieforschung. (4) Biochemie der Zellorganellen: Mitochondrien / mitochondriale Enzyme. (5) Neurochemie des ZNS bei exemplarisch selektierten neurodegenerativen Erkrankungen: Mitochondriale Dysfunktion / Mb. Alzheimer / Mb. Parkinson / Oxydativer Stress & Bildung freier Radikale als mögliche Störfaktoren der mitochondrialen Respiration.
