Content: This course examines the molecular, cellular and biochemical basis of a variety of human pathologies. Some of these aliments include: Diabetes, Obesity, Aging, Osteoporosis, Arteriosclerosis, Hypertension and aspects of Neurodegeneration (Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's & ALS). Also included are discussions concerning DNA-instability and inherited mutations and their relation to these diseases and to cancer.
